Chapter 1 to six
Words to look up, Aspasia, ancient greek. Philo of Larissa
In Chapter one, we are introduced to the possible parents of Saint Paul, we know he was a roman Citizen albeit a Jew who was a lawyer and theologian. He was brought up in the Helenistic style of the time. Here Taylor Caldwell, describes his infant self as a bit homely, with firey red hair and vivid blue eyes.
His father, a Pharisee, contemplates his feeling that something momentous has happened and the star that could be seen from Jerusalem over the area of Bethlehem, as noted by his cousin in a letter.
